Active Fitness 8 Week Weight Loss Challenge

Four to Six well balanced meals...(individually discussed)
Daily journal of ALL food. We will be involved...helping you to make food adjustments and suggestions to personalize your nutrition plan for successful weight loss and overall health
MINIMUM of three cardio days per week. You can utilize the cardio equipment at our studio ( that we we can keep an eye on you and motivate you too) OR take part in two cardio based classes. IF SCHEDULE DOES NOT ALLOW FOR STUDIO CARDIO TIMES AND OR CLASSES AND YOU CHOOSE TO DO YOUR CARDIO ON YOUR OWN...YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE TO JOURNAL FOR OUR REVIEW. Our expectations for this eight week period is five cardio day per week...however, we do understand that life can interfere with a five day cardio plan. Cardio burn expectation are 300-500 calories per session...ask us about interval training.
MINIMUM Two strength training sessions per week. Bootcamp classes can be substituted for weight training
Weekly weigh ins...NO exceptions. We will also be reviewing journal to track progress and make changes if necessary
Rest...at least six hours per night. Recovery is very important to this weight loss process.

January 7th - March 3rd 2012 AFS will be hosting an 8 week weight loss challenge...
There are countless "diets" out there that claim they will help you to lose weight. Unfortunately, most are gimmicky trends intended for immediate gratification (downward movement of the scale). Most of these diets are unhealthy and most people reach a plateau (ceasing of weight loss) very quickly... and most likely abandon the diet as well as gain most (if not all) of their weight back. What is the "SOLUTION"? We do not need to lose weight to be healthy... we need to get healthy to lose weight. Permanent SUSTAINED weight loss occurs when people eat the right food for their bodies get sufficient rest and exercise consistently. Therefore Active Fitness has created an 8 week results based program consisting of all three components.
